Exercise for life!6

For our make a difference project, my partners and I had an event during our Cultural Day last week Wednesday. We had activities such as water balloon toss, basketball, and even tug of war, which was very enjoyable.  Although it was fun, not many people showed up. This was very disappointing. I now realize we didn’t take the time to inform students because of the last minute changes we made on when to have these activities. Sadly, I’ve noticed that we haven’t done our best promoting exercise as well as setting the  time, place, and equipment needed for the activities that we want participants to play. However, the activities we had on Cultural Day put us on track for our on time delivery. I note that we need to speed up the process for our events and make it more enjoyable with a larger crowd. My next action is to focus on our last sports/activities day by inviting more participants and thinking of creative ways for them to move their bodies.

Exercise For Life!5

So far we've accomplished creating updated flyers,  talking to informants about how to keep our bodies healthy, and we finally have set dates for our events. We were supposed to host an event today but Ms. Forti was not able to supervise, so we've tried to adjust to when she can make it. In this process we're having a tough time .. but we've learned that we may be able to have some kind of activities for students on cultural day. That way we have many people around to participate and Ms. Forti will be in school and able to supervise. We thought about having students who are sitting around to do small physical team building activities that hopefully they will enjoy. We still have not hosted any events so we are not on track for on time delivery. . We need to adjust our timeline to something doable with a schedule that will benefit everyone and the events outcome.
